ACH payments, checkboxes, lazy loading, responsive options and more!

What’s New in Formli

ACH Payment

We’ve added a new payment method to our payment block! You can now pick the ACH option in addition to PayPal and credit card. Your responders will be able to pay directly from their bank accounts.

Create a payment block and check the “ACH” option in the payment options list to offer the new payment method to your responders.

Charge processing fees to payer

You can now choose to charge your payment processing fees to your responders. Those fees are completely customizable and can be applied to one or several payment method.

We’ve also added a feature that lets you customize your disclaimer text for more flexibility and transparency.

Click the settings wheel next to the payment method name to customize the processing fees. You’ll be able to enter a custom fee percentage as well as a maximum and minimum value.

You can choose to apply processing fees to specific card types only (for the credit card method).

Checkbox data field

We’ve added a checkbox field to the data field block! You can now ask your responders for yes/no answers and use their responses as a boolean in your conditional transitions and functions.

Create a new data field and scroll down the type list to find the new “checkbox” field.

You can customize the color and style of your checkbox like other data fields

Checkboxes can also be hidden if needed.

In the field settings, check the “Hide Checkbox” option.

Image and video lazy-loading

To make your forms look good at all time, we’ve added a lazy-loading feature that blurs your image and videos in a beautiful gradients while they load.

Hide media on mobile

We wanted to make sure that your forms would always be readable, even on mobile devices. So we’ve added a “hide media on mobile” feature to your block settings.

Scroll down in your block settings and open the “Media Settings” section. You’ll see a new option called “Hide media on mobile”.

If the option is turned on, your media will be hidden on mobile but it will still be visible on desktop!

Loading screen on embedded forms

You can now choose to add a loading state to your embeds in your Formli settings. A loading spinner will be displayed while your Formli loads.

Go to your Formli embed settings and scroll to the “Advanced Settings” section. You’ll see a new “Show loading spinner” option.

When toggled, a loading screen will be displayed while your form is loading on your website.

Clear color selection

You can now easily clear your color selection by clicking the “🚫” icon in the color picker.

When the color picker is toggled, click the “clear selection” icon.
